Power Transfer Load Centers with ASCO automatic transfer switches are available for 200 amp and 400 amp, 120/240 and 120/208, single phase and three phase applications rated up to 42kAIC.
PTLCs are available in 2-source (Utility and Emergency) or 3-source (Utility and either a Permanent Emergency or Backup Power Source) designs. For three-source configurations, the ATS is supplemented by a mechanically interlocked MTS enabling users to select between a permanent or mobile backup power source. The robust ASCO ATS features a double throw, single solenoid transfer mechanism, microprocessor control, is UL 1008 Listed and complies with NFPA 110 for emergency and standby power systems.
Software communication capabilities are among the newest innovations: Modbus and SNMP connectivity features provide benefits for remote monitoring and alarms. These features are available with the automatic transfer switch series, indoor and outdoor panels.
Critical loads connected to the PTLC are safeguarded by Strikesorb surge protection. Strikesorb is designed to withstand repetitive surges, providing superior protection.
PTLC Series panels are ideal for new construction as the design offers space-savings and installation convenience. Main disconnect breakers, the ATS or ATS with MTS, Strikesorb and a Square D load center are factory integrated inside of one enclosure to minimize inventory and maximize value. Field wiring of the components is eliminated, saving time and expense.
