From monopoles to data centers, Intersect offers panels for new construction, upgrades, or replacements. New in 2016, the PDC Series addresses the demand for utility pole or monopole mounted Service Entrance (SE) power distribution for lights and radios. The PDC Micro Series introduces a 9x9 box in a pallet of powder coated paint colors to blend with the installation environment. New in 2017, compact integrated SE designs for small sites or walk-in cabinets: with a manual transfer switch --32”Hx22” W—or an automatic transfer switch—59”Hx22”W-- NEMA Type 3R enclosure. Both PTLC’s include surge protection, alarm monitors, and a 30-position load center—32"Hx22"W--accommodate small sites or walk-in cabinets. A similar design—59"Hx27"w—is being developed with an automatic transfer switch. Traditionally, since 2001, Intersect has offered <400Amps SE indoor and outdoor cabinets. PTLC
Power Transfer Load Centers (PTLC) offer solutions for new builds—SE indoor and outdoor cabinets that include main disconnect breakers, surge protection, an automatic and/or manual transfer switch, remote monitoring and alarming, and panel boards for 8, 24, 30 or 42 branch breakers.

PTC
Power Transfer Centers (PTC) are SE rated panels for site upgrades to add an alternative power source. PTC panels include main disconnect breakers, surge protection, and an automatic or manual transfer switch. These designs do not include panel boards as the PTC is designed for mounting in front of or side-by-side with pre-existing electrical distribution centers that already are populated with branch breakers wired to site equipment. Hard wiring to the utility grid is expanded. The PTC hard wires to the utility grid. In addition, an alternative power source may be hard-wired or connected via an engine generator connection and selected by an automatic or manual transfer switch.

Telco/Safety
Telco and Safety Boxes originally were designed as a convenience—to offer an aesthetically appealing line-up of cabinets for H-Frame mounting at co-location or small sites. These panels now routinely are ordered for stand-alone installations and hundreds are sold annually. Telco Boxes are offered with rack-mounted equipment and air conditioning. Safety Boxes offer pad-lockable, environmentally sheltered site storage for tools and manuals as well as a portable shelf for laptops. Site technicians benefit from the conveniences of an outdoor office in a NEMA Type 3R enclosure.

ICGC or ICL
CamLok Generator Connection Panels (ICGC or ICL) are pad-lockable cabinets that offer a universal means of connecting engine generator sets. CamLoks eliminate plugs and receptacles for mating engine generator sets to electrical panels. CamLoks twist lock to provide optimal mechanical and electrical connections. Individual CamLoks are color coded for safe and easy installation. The panels are compact and pad-lockable whether the male/female CamLok is or is not connected with cables to the engine generator power source. Your power connection is safe from intrusion by insects, rodents, unauthorized personnel, and the elements.

SPD
Site Surge Protection Devices (SPD) with Strikesorb are the UL Listed protection device recommended by Intersect. Our proprietary integrated designs —PTLC, PTC, and PDC panels--all may include Strikesorb modules. To add surge protection to an existing site, Rayvoss panels are available. Strikesorb is owned by Raycap International, and its ability to protect against power anomalies—including spikes or surges from lightning and grid outages—is unique.
